Farymeadows can be approached by air from Islamabad , Pakistan’s capital. P.I.A operates two flights daily to Gilgit which is one of the major cities in Gilgit-Baltistan. From gilgit you can travel by road on the Karakoram Highway upto raikot bridge which is 76 km , 1 ½ hours drive.After reaching Raikot you can park your vehicle at the Fairymeadows Inn Hotel & Restaurant.A parking ticket is available at the reception. Clean hygienic lunch boxes are available with your trek . A jeep can be arranged for you to Tato village , a 1 ½ journey . The trek starts from here and takes 2 ½ hours to reach Fairymeadows.Mules and a local guide is also available .
By Road :
Fairymeadows can also be approached by road as you begin your journey from Islamabad via Naran and Babusar Pass route ( open from June to October ) 11 hours drive in total . From zero point you turn right on theK.K.H heading north to Raikot bridge ,Fairymeadows Inn or take the Karakoram Highway route via Besham ( open all year round ) 18 hours drive to Raikot bridge , Fairymeadows Inn.
